Natural resources - Soap Lake - 2014-01-10-08-43

Apparently there are these natural resources with certain properties.  How do I know they have certain properties?  Because somebody already said that… I’m assuming it is true… But I have to use my judgement, you know, to decide whether what I am reading is the gospel truth or not… You’ll never know what a person may spew forth…
IT’s upto me to decide what I do or think or speak about it…
Really?  Okay, not really, it’s more automatic.

“Out of the fullness of a man’s mouth, so he speaks”… Or something like that….

So, where were we?

Oh, yes, natural resources…

Apparently there is this lake called the Soap Lake, where there is foam on the surface of the lake.  Oooh!

What causes the foam?  Apparently it is the minerals.  It is treated as a natural big mineral bath, and people with all sorts of afflictions go there for a holiday and lie in the lake and watch the clouds and the birds go by, and then when their skin is all wrinkled and dry, then they step out and go for a walk, or they eat something, and then they… And then they do it all again.

After about a week of ding ding dong, or more, then they go home with a bucket of water in the trunk.

Any time they feel something, they scoop up some water and put it on their skin.

Where is this?  Its in Washington somewhere … but hurry, they’re draining the lake..

Are there other mineral lakes where I can bathe…?  Maybe somewhere close to where I am, already?

Oh, just go to any lake close to you and bathe in it.  It will have some mineral or the other… Whatever is suitable for that location.

Or the easiest things (might not be “easy” on an absolute scale, but it’s the “easiest” option out of those involved) – go to the sea and lie in that.  Or walk (in the sea), if there are not too many pebbles on the floor (if there are, remember to wear something on your feet).  Maybe like flippers, or something like a flipper, without the webbing underneath.

Basically, just spend some time in the sea, without much clothing on, so the skin is in contact with the water.  Oh!  That is why they have the bikini.  Maximum exposure to the water.  I want one….

Okay, if you don’t get flippers, just put any footwear that you’re comfortable with, just make sure you realize you’re going to get it wet.  So if you want to reuse it, then check if it is water-proof.  Or maybe it could be one of those use and throw shoes – disposable shoes.  Yes, I want disposable socks, too.  Can’t stand washing them….

Hey!  There are disposable socks already.  Bet you didn’t know you could throw them away.  That’s why you keep trying to wash them.  No need, child, just throw them away, … They are disposable.

But they cost so much.  So try a less-invested one.  Maybe thinner on the sides, and maybe not so much processing involved, so that you won’t feel bad when you throw it away.  Yes, yes.  Good idea.  They’re called “cheap” socks.  Ooh.  I love cheap socks.  Use and throw.

.. The untold assumption is that they are of pure natural fiber – either cotton or jute or hemp or something like that….

More comfortable, allows my skin to breathe, and if I get burnt in it, at least it won’t stick….
Disposables should be made of bio-degradable stuff.  Otherwise, if they are synthetic, they will last a while…  So actually plastic cups are the most durable cups…. Don’t know why they’re called “disposable”.

Clay cups?  Oh yes, those are disposable.  Coconut shells?  Oh yes, those can be drunk from, and either kept because they are easy to wash, and then after some time, maybe years, they can be thrown out on the ash heap.  Just put a little base for half-a-coconut shell to rest on, and it’s a cup or a bowl…

Anything else I know…?

Someone wants to go… Okay, bye-bye.
